Dr. Lonnstrom teaches courses in business statistics.
Research/Professional Activities
Dr. Lonnstrom's major area of interest is corporate and consumer financing. He is the founding director of the Siena Research Institute. Dr. Lonnstrom created the Index of Consumer Sentiment, based on the national index by the University of Michigan. This NYS ICS is published widely throughout the state each month and is used by the Federal Reserve Board, NYS Dept. of Labor, Nassau County Board of Supervisors and other Business/Government leaders. Dr. Lonnstrom is a polling expert, conducts surveys and makes presentations regarding a wide range of Finance matters during the year.
