Vice President of Academic Affairs
Linda Richardson, Ph.D.
As the chief academic officer for the College, Dr. Richardson works with the faculty, administration and Board of Trustees to establish academic programs and is responsible for the overall academic undertakings of the College.
Richardson joined the Siena faculty in 1991 after serving in academic and corporate settings which included UNUM Inc., the University of Southern Maine, University of Central Arkansas, Montana State University, and General Electric Company in New York, N.Y. She earned a B.A. in economics at Connecticut College, an M.S. in agricultural economics at Montana State University, and a Ph.D. in finance (with minors in mathematical statistics and economics) at the University of Arkansas. She is an inductee of Sigma Beta Delta National Honor Society in Business, Management, and Administration, and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. From 1998-2001, Richardson served a distinguished tenure as Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs.
As the first Core Coordinator for Siena College, Richardson was instrumental in the development and evaluation of the Foundations Sequence.
She was awarded the Jerome Walton Excellence in Teaching Award for the 1996-97 academic year.
