How do I change the initial password sent to me?
There are two steps that need to be completed when you first receive your Siena College username and initial password.
- Step 1: Register at Password Reset Portal -- this allows you to change/reset your own password in the future. You will be required to set three security questions during the registration process. Being able to supply the answers to these security questions will allow you to reset your own password. - Step 2: Changing Initial Password -- after registering at the Portal, you must change your initial password to something that makes sense to you. You will not be able to access your email if you don't change the initial password. Instructions on changing your password may be found here. The URL for changing your password through the Portal is http://accountservice.siena.edu.
