Visiting Professor of Economics

The Siena College Economics Department is accepting applications for two one semester visiting positions for spring 2013. The position requires teaching three sections of principles and one upper division course. The ideal candidate will have previous teaching experience, or, at minimum, a strong desire to teach undergraduates at a liberal arts college. A PhD in economics is preferred, but we will also consider highly qualified ABD candidates who have passed their comprehensive exams but have not begun work on their dissertation, or other qualified candidates with teaching experience in economics.

We seek applicants with a passion for the highest quality undergraduate teaching, including heterodox approaches, applied fields, and interdisciplinary work. Qualified female and minority candidates are particularly invited to apply.
