Information Security Administrator
The Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) at Siena College is accepting applications for the position of Information Security Administrator. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, the Administrator will be responsible for ensuring that the college is in compliance with all information security requirements. The Administrator will also be responsible for creating policy and guidelines related to information security and for the college’s Information Security Awareness training program.
The Administrator will work closely with the Network and Systems Engineering team within ITS to ensure that the technical components of information security, such as firewalls and system controls, are adequate and up to date.
Requirements: A bachelor’s degree is required along with at least 3 years of experience with some aspect of information security. A Master’s degree and/or professional certification such as CISSP are preferred. Strong communications skills both written and oral are a must. A background screening is required for this position.
