Coordinator of AmeriCorps/VISTA Fellows Program

The Office of Academic Community Engagement (ACE) is accepting applications for a one-year externally funded position of Coordinator of AmeriCorps/VISTA Fellows Program. The Coordinator of AmeriCorps/VISTA Fellows Program is responsible for:
1. Coordination of the Siena AmeriCorps/VISTA Fellows Program including recruitment, training, placement, and management of 32+ full-time Siena College AmeriCorps/VISTA Fellows; implementation of all College AmeriCorps/VISTA Program requirements; maintenance of all AmeriCorps Federal Reporting-e-grant requirements
2. Coordinating 3 full-time Program Associates (AmeriCorps/VISTA leaders)
3. Coordinating, developing, implementing and continual assessment of ACE DEEP community partnerships
4. Assisting other ACE administrators with development and implementation of new projects, programs, funding applications and trainings.

The position requires the following:
1. Bachelor’s degree
2. At least 1 year of relevant experience
3. Knowledge of AmeriCorps rules, regulations and reporting
4. Knowledge of DEEP service model, and US> government e-grants
5. Knowledge of Bonner Program model and Bonner web-based reporting system management
6. Knowledge of community partner best practices
7. Knowledge of recruitment and retention policies
8. Excellent communication skills
