Curator of Fine Arts - Adjunct Faculty

Siena College invites applications for the Curator of Fine Arts for Spring 2014 academic semester, with the possibility of renewal. This is an Adjunct Faculty position reporting to the Library Director, for fifteen hours per week during the academic semester.

The Curator of Fine Arts is responsible for the overall care, management and installation of Siena’s permanent art collection. Duties include: Installation and labeling of art works at campus locations, maintenance and conservation of the collection, inventory control, gifts management, budget administration, education of the Siena community about the collection, and other duties as required. Requirements include a B.A. in studio art or art history and a M.A. (preferably in art-related field); museum or gallery or equivalent experience; good organizational skills; good interpersonal skills
