The Forward Fund is intended to provide scholarships to students with exceptional promise and who have demonstrated that they understand that for whom much has been given, much is expected as they go forward in life. These students will have a record in high school and while they are students at Siena that demonstrates their understanding that the skills and intellect that they have been given are not truly utilized until they have been put in service to others. It would be expected that recipients would use their talents and resources to "pay it forward" so that others would realize the same benefit that they have received.
