In January 2006, Ron ‘85 and Cathy (Casey) ‘85 Bjorklund donated $100,000 in seed money to the finance department to create a student managed fund, The David E. Bjorklund Fund, in memory of Ron’s brother. High-demand Bjorklund Fund graduates hit the workforce armed with valuable real-world experience. They develop portfolio management skills and gain hands-on Bloomberg Terminal knowledge and also complete the Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) and the Bloomberg Environmental Social Governance Certificate (Bloomberg ESG). Support of this fund broadens the reach of perhaps the most impactful opportunity on campus for business students.
