Daniel D. White, PhD, MPH is a biological anthropologist, a public health practitioner, and an assistant professor of health studies. Dan currently leads Siena College's interdisciplinary health studies major which prepares students to tackle current and future challenges related to health and health care nationally and globally. He is a member Siena's nursing faculty and teaches courses in public and global health, evolutionary medicine, and human biology. Dan has conducted research and led public health classes in Jamaica in partnership with nursing colleagues and Franiciscan Friars. Last year, Siena's health promotion lab, which Dan co-leads, won a grant to work on a collective action to combat climate change anxiety on campus.
