I love watching Siena freshman develop as independent thinkers. I also love the collegiality and sense of community among faculty and staff at Siena.
I’m currently at work on an article that locates in Colson Whitehead’s John Henry Days (2001) a counternarrative to the ongoing elision of race from historical accounts of the making of America’s fossil fuel empire.
