First-Year Seminar Conference Showcases Student Research
As a culmination of a year’s worth of research, Siena’s First-Year Seminar (FYS) program holds a student conference for freshmen to present their final research projects. The event, which covers topics from drones and Barbie to superfoods, provides students the opportunity to hone in on their research and presentation skills in front of their peers and members of the Siena community.

Siena Students Conduct Colonie Survey
A group of Siena students got a first-hand look at the town of Colonie through their “Town of Colonie Quality of Life Survey.” Completed in conjunction with the Siena College Research Institute (SRI), the 13 students in this community based- research course spoke with Town of Colonie residents to assess the quality of life in the town.
