Internet Radio Gives Voice to Students

After a few years of silence, Siena College’s radio station WVCR-FM 88.3 “The Saint," has once again flipped the switch on its 24-hour online talk-radio station. The student-run, internet-based station called Saint Talk, is now broadcasting to the entire world.

Siena Physicists Contribute to Major Scientific Finding

Siena College Assistant Professor of Physics John Cummings, Ph.D., physics major Kyle Turck ’12 and fellow members of the Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment, an international collaboration of physicists, have announced a finding that will pave the way for explanations of why matter exists in the universe.

Teach on the Beach

First-Year Seminar professor John Harden, Esq. and a dedicated group of students have made Siena the first four year college to partner with the non-profit organization Teach on the Beach. The program provides education, monetary support and international student interaction to a small group of children and young adults from the West African nation of Ghana.

Cutler Adds Academic Perspective to Judge Search

Professor of Political Science and Director of the Center for the Study of Government and Politics Len Cutler, Ph.D., will be using his knowledge of the legal system in his newly appointed role on the Merit Selection Panel as the United States District Court seeks a full-time United States Magistrate Judge in Albany, New York. Cutler was appointed to the panel by the Chief Judge of the United States District Court of the Northern District, Hon. Gary Sharpe.
