On Tuesday, November 15, the newest class of entrepreneurs was inducted to the Siena College Maddalone Entrepreneur Wall of Success. Made possible through the support of Guy Maddalone ’89, founder and CEO of GTM Payroll Services, the wall displays the logos of companies created by Siena graduates.
Located in the David ’73 and Christine ’75 Spicer Stack Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the wall is designed to serve as an inspiration to the current Siena students, showing them all of that is possible to achieve.
This year’s inductees:
All Star Wine and Spirits
All Star Wine and Spirits, located in Latham, is led by President and Managing Partner, Craig Allen ’91. Allen has been instrumental in the organization’s support of Siena College, including the annual Festa Vino celebration and The All Star Wine and Spirits Scholarship.
Anchor Agency, Inc.
Anchor Agency was founded in May of 1960, established by Lee Aronowitz, Arthur Kapner, Edward Corts and Siena alumni Marvin Freedman ’52. Aronowitz, Kapner and Corts have passed away in recent years and Freedman remains with the Agency as Chairman. Anchor Agency has a Personal Insurance Department which serves more than two thousand accounts, a Commercial Insurance Department that insures more than eight hundred businesses, and a Employee Benefits Department that handles, Life, Group Health, Long Term Care and other group and individual benefits.
Bright Hub, College Factual
As CEO and Co-Founder, Bill Phelan ’78 brings more than 20 years of operational, technical and financial experience to Media Factual. Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Troy, NY, College Factual, a trademark of parent company Bright Hub, is an online portal designed to assist prospective college students, parents, guidance counselors and others involved in the college selection process.
Civco Realty Corp.
CEO Antonio (Tony) Civitella ’91 opened the doors to Civco Realty Corporation in 2010. Civco Realty Corp. is a real estate broker and agent company in Schenectady, NY. Civitella also founded the accelerator, New York BizLab.

Former Siena basketball player Melissa Manzer ’08 is Cross Fit Round Lake’s Coach and Co-Owner with Samuel Axten. The mission of Cross Fit Round Lake is dedication to providing members the safest and most effective training program, supported by empirically-driven methodology and continual professional development.

Lincoln Smith ’93 established Lincoln Consulting Group, Inc. in 2011. This organization primarily operates in the Business Consulting, business / industry within the Engineering, Accounting, Research, and Management Services sector.

Founded in 1971 and headquartered in the historic Sage Mansion in Albany, New York, by President Michael Hayes ’67, M.M. Hayes Company, Inc., is a certified Kronos partner and leading provider of workforce management and cashless payment solutions.

Rev. Peter G. Young ’53 founded the Peter Young Housing, Industries, and Treatment on the mission taxpayers are created by serving the impoverished, the addicted and the socially disenfranchised to help them enter the world of work and become good citizens who contribute to their community.

Patrick Gray ’04 is the President and Co-Founder of sCube Inc. He leads the Business Development, Legal and Human Resource divisions of the company and helps steer the overall strategic vision.

Maureen Fairlie ’76 is the President and Owner of Snappy Solutions, Inc., founded in 2006 as a full service "green" janitorial supply company. Over the years Snappy Solutions has responded to its client's needs by expanding its product line to include spill containment and prevention products, restroom partitions, lockers, food service replacement parts, safety supplies, specialty cleaners and concrete supplies including waterstop, grout and tools.
