On Saturday, August 27, Siena’s Office of Community Living held their annual day of service as part of the summer Resident Assistant Training.

"The day of service program allows our Resident Assistants the opportunity to see first-hand the wide range of service sites in the Capital Region that they can also use as service-site programs for their residents,” said Adam Casler, Director of Community Living. “As a Franciscan and Catholic institution, our goal is to live our mission and values by providing opportunities for our students to engage in direct service with agencies and the people they serve."

Organized by Kaitlyn Rooney, Residence Director of Hines Hall, the groups traveled across the Capital Region to serve local organizations: Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless, Patroon Land Farm, Northeast Regional Food Bank, Ronald McDonald House and the CC Rescue Mission.
