Siena College Computer Science professors Meg Fryling, Ph.D. and Jack Rivituso, Ed.D. spent part of the summer teaching at the Zhejiang Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (ZIME) in Hangzhou, China. Dr. Rivituso, an adjunct professor at Siena and full time faculty member at SUNY Cobleskill, introduced Dr. Fryling to the ZIME faculty while they were visiting the United States in the Fall of 2014. This visit concluded with the two scholars being invited to spend four weeks teaching at ZIME during June 2nd-July 6th, 2015. They will present a paper on their experiences teaching in China at the 2015 EDSIG Conference on Information Systems and Computing Education in Wilmington, North Carolina on November 1-4.
