Jack Rotolo ’16 knew from his first day as a Saint that he wanted to make a difference in the Siena community. Inspired by a mentor during orientation, Rotolo wanted to be a guide for the next generation of students and share his passion and love of Siena.

“I knew right when I was a freshman that I wanted to be on Siena’s orientation staff because it had such an impact on my career here. During my own orientation, I met someone who would become one of my best friends, and even my orientation leader became someone I see as a lifelong friend.”

Rotolo followed his passion and became a Siena orientation leader, welcoming Saints as they stepped on campus for the first time as students, just as was done for him. For the rest of his time at Siena, Rotolo served as a student leader.

His involvement continued to grow during his four years; he joined the Rugby team, had a work study job with the athletics department, and participated in internships off campus.

Although he enjoyed being a campus leader, Rotolo did not forget the reason he was in college. Making a connection with Dr. Michael Pepe, associate professor of marketing, helped Rotolo take a big leap into his academics.

“[He] really got me started on the fast track to earning as many credits as I could. He has always been a great resource for me. We always joke around about the Packers and the Vikings, so it’s been nice to have someone like him around to talk to.”

Never losing sight of the bigger picture, Rotolo landed a job with ADP as an associate district manager before he graduated.
