Friends of Siena College gathered August 8 at Serra Manor for a "Magical Evening of the Arts" to showcase Siena talent. Proceeds from the event will benefit the College's Campus Ministry and music programs - and possibly fund a new piano for Foy Theatre.

Br. Ed Coughlin, O.F.M., Ph.D., Siena's president, and David B. Smith '79, vice president for development and external affairs, welcomed more than 70 guests for the annual event. This is the first time it was held on Siena's campus.

Student vocalists Samir El-Sawaf '18 and Madeline Mazzotta sang selections from Phantom of the Opera, My Fair Lady, West Side Story and more.  Kate Kaufman Burns, the College's director of liturgical arts, accompanied them on keyboard.
