Zachary Larson ’15 led Siena’s Mohawk Battalion Ranger Challenge team to a third place finish out of 14 in the small school category and ninth out of 42 overall at the U.S. Army Cadet Command Ranger Challenge Competition on October 11-12. The challenge, held at Fort Dix in New Jersey, is a mentally and physically grueling competition between the top cadets of Army ROTC programs in the northeast.

"I was very proud of how well our team performed this year," Larson said. "I hope we are able to build upon this year's success in the future."

The cadets were required to complete a number of demanding tasks including a 10k ruck mark, obstacle course, one-rope bridge and log carry.
