Campus Events, Student Life

Signs that Siena College is ready for the start of the fall semester are visible throughout campus. A green and gold welcome banner is hanging proudly across Siena Hall, the sounds of a steel drum band emanated from Lonnstrom Landing and carloads of new students began to settle into their residence halls.

This year, Siena College welcomes 768 first-year students, including 700 who will live on campus, and 125 transfer students. As part of Siena’s Move-In Day tradition, the Class of 2017 and their families were met by public safety officers, student volunteers, staff and administrators who traded a day in the office for time spent helping the incoming students unpack and get acclimated to their new home.
