More than 2,000 athletes, coaches and spectators gathered on the Siena College campus June 16 and 17 for the 2017 Special Olympics Summer Games.
The event marked the first time in a decade that the state-level games have been held in the Capital Region.
As a co-host and sponsor of the Summer Games, Siena's campus was the venue for the opening and closing ceremonies as well as several athletic events.
The College plans to host the games again in the summer of 2018.
