For the fourth year in a row, Siena College was recognized by Victory Media as a Military Friendly School.
The Military Friendly® Schools designation process includes extensive research and a data-driven survey of leading colleges nationwide. According to Coordinator of Veterans Services, Rob Bahny, “Receiving this designation places Siena in the top quarter of higher education institutions across the country recognized for serving student veterans.”
At Siena, the Veterans Services Office provides support and guidance for all students who are veterans or members of the armed forces. Siena is committed to recognizing the academic and personal needs of veterans as well as assisting them in their educational pursuits. Student veterans at Siena are able to identify resources provided by faculty and staff across the campus to assist them in their transition to student life. Siena also provides many helpful resources for veterans such as the tutoring center, advising center, counseling center, library, career center, and the chaplain’s office.
