Siena in the News

Siena College continues to be recognized as a “best” college and is ranked among the top tier of liberal arts colleges on the 2015 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges list.

To be included on this list, colleges must emphasize undergraduate education and award at least half of their degrees in liberal arts fields of study.

This year Siena improved its ranking, moving from #126 to #113. Siena’s overall score went up along with its number of freshmen who were in the top 10 percent of their class and the alumni-giving rate. Most significantly, the College’s six-year graduation rate improved from 73 to 80 percent.

Siena was also included on the Princeton Review’s “Best 379 Colleges” and Forbes “Top Colleges” lists this year.
