Siena College was named a Champion for Children by Northern Rivers at its annual dinner on May 10 in downtown Albany. The event was attended by Siena students and administrators.
Siena was recognized for its commitment to the Capital Region community through such efforts as its mentoring program, tutoring of refugee students and the Siena Serves days.
Northern Rivers is a social services agency formed by the Parsons Child and Family Center of Albany and the Northeast Parent & Child Society of Schenectady. Each year it recognizes community leaders for their positive impact on children and families.
