On April 25 the Creative Arts Department and Stage III hosted the fifth annual Hollywood Trashion Fashion event.
Taryn Dibble ’13, with her costume titled “Connection Disconnection,” was crowned champion. Kat Canavan ’15, who modeled her design titled “Springtime Red Carpet Stroll,” received second place and Erin Griffin ’13, with her piece “Ode to Capstone,” was awarded third place.
Costumes were judged based on runway style, design and creative use of materials. The event, sponsored by the Student Events Board, Residential Life and Environmental Club, featured 41 contestants who created their outfits from trash.
