MEET GEORGE
In the Summer of 2020, Siena welcomed military veteran George Christian as the College’s first Presidential Actions Officer, reporting directly to the President, Dr. Chris Gibson ’86.
As a retired U.S. Army Recruiting and Retention Non-Commissioned Officer, George draws upon his experience and degree in Social Work from Utica College to foster relationships, inclusivity, and mentorship among Siena Saints.
On any given day, George may be found outdoors with students, dining with our Saints in Lonnstrom Hall, or taking a quiet moment to assist a student on anything from scheduling a class to how to vote. George will also apply his skills as a recruiter to assist in College outreach to prospective students from historically underrepresented populations.
