Fall Fusion and Exposé

Two Talent shows taking place one in the Fall Semester the other in the Spring.  They are attended by many of our students and many of the cultural / affinity clubs get to perform.  Fall Fusion is hosted by the Damietta Cross Cultural Center and Exposé is hosted by BSU.

Unity Day

The College hosts an annual Unity Day event at Nigro Plaza that features contributions from students to observe Juneteenth and demonstrate Siena’s commitment to strengthening the bonds of racial justice. The community celebrates Juneteenth again closer to the actual June 19 holiday; Unity Day is held toward the end of the spring semester so the College can observe Juneteenth as a full community.

ALANA and Lavender Celebration of Achievement

Every May, the Damietta Cross-Cultural Center hosts a pre-commencement commemoration to celebrate the accomplishments of graduating students of LGBTQ+ and ALANA identities (African-American/Black, Latina/o, Hispanic, Asian/Pacific Islander, Indigenous/Native American and other students of color) as well as allies.

This celebration also acknowledges the contributions our ALANA and LGBTQ+ seniors have made to Siena, both individually and collectively.
